The hotel itself was ok. It was old, but clean. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The indoor pool was HUGE, heated, and well maintained The breakfast was quite good with lots of options. However, the reason I would never stay at this hotel again is the area it is located. It was in a very bad part of town. Every corner had someone panhandling, and we saw LOTS of people walking down the street "tweaking". It was a very unsafe area.

Rooms were clean but could be updated. Staff was friendly and the hotel was very clean. A few places near the hotel looked a little rough but we had no issues. Price was great and being a little away from downtown Nashville was nice to avoid higher rates. Dryer didn't dry my clothes so I wouldn't use the laundry here but would stay again.
