The rooms are small and maybe not the best idea to stay in if you are over 2 people. But everything was so clean and well thought out that it felt very comfortable. I was especially loved the natural hot spring and massage amenities!

Excellent breakfast buffet with a fantastic selection of food. Onsens are amazing! Both sides door and outdoor Onsens on site, plus a sauna and a cold plunge pool. Staff throughout the hotel from reception to dining room to housekeeping were very helpful. Delightful traditional Japanese hotel with lockers by reception to store outdoor shoes. Everyone goes barefoot or wears socks indoors. Centrally located across the road from Nara station.

I and my daughter stayed this hotel for 3 nights, we had a great time. The hotel is super close to Nara JR station, the staff is very helpful and the temperature of hot springs is very nice. I recommend the people who wants to go for hot springs can try it at midnight, less people and can get to use the free massage chairs sooner.

This is NOT a 5-star hotel. It is a 8-star hotel! 1) Super clean. Guests leave their shoes at the reception. You wear socks or go bare feet everywhere in the hotel, including the restaurant. 2) Indoor and outdoor onsen with natural spring water. And sauna too. 3) Free use of the massage chairs. Although only 2, I never had to wait long. 4) Free ice cream all day long and free dispenser drinks after 8.30pm. Free ramen supper after 9.30pm. 5) 3 washing machines (free) + 3 dryers (nominal fee) 6) Convenient location right opposite Nara station and walking distance to shops and eateries. 7) Fab breakfast buffet. Mainly Japanese. 8) Staff do not speak much English but they are very helpful.

I loved this place. Very clean. Loved my room. Staff were helpful. Breakfast buffet was excellent. The hot spring was one of the most memorable parts of my trip to Japan. It's right next to the train station. It's a perfect way to get a taste of the experience of more traditional Japanese accommodations, but in a medium sized hotel. If I ever go back to Nara I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The hotel itself, and the room looks so cute and relaxing Japanese style. The hot spring was a great experience and having free ice cream and Ramen was so nice. But the breakfast which we were looking forward to it was mostly compatible with Japanese taste, and not what we could enjoy much. But good experience for sure.

I was able to find the quiet time to enjoy Onsen. Check the live crowd monitor. Nice to have the washing machine as well. You can also enjoy the massage chair with free of charge. Across from the JR station, bit far from Nara park however it’s walkable. We enjoyed breakfast, plenty of choice for gluten free persons. Facility was kept clean all around.
