“We stayed the first weekend in November so the entire Island was quiet. Off street parking was a plus. Friendly staff. Coffee 24hrs in dining room. Convenient location for dining, shopping, ferry and other sights. Lemon Press for breakfast was excellent and located a shirt walk away. ”

When we got there with a baby and a 4 year old, the host said we can´t stay because kids were not allowed, she wasn´t even being nice and comprehensive, like if it was our fault.The expedia information said: kids welcome. She told us to cancel the booking, we agreed as long as she arrange a new place for us, at the end she didn´t so she said we can stay. “A beautifully appointed inn with moody blue and mahogany hallways, bright, comfortable bedrooms and the best bathroom I have ever have ever seen. I stayed during the very quiet period just before Christmas Stroll. High winds canceled my ferry, but the staff welcomed me to hole up in one of the library rooms until the later ferry departed. The charming and conversational manager even checked in and offered tea. I felt very welcomed and will return.”
