A really nice little stay for one night in Nantucket. Lovely little General Store down the street had wonderful breakfast burritos and there is a fantastic coffee shop by the airport behind the gas station (Nantucket Roasters). We appreciated the communication and opportunity to store our bags when we were on the go as well!

Perfect for a Nantucket trip

Super clean bathroom, sharing with other guests was never a problem. Nice location right next to one of the shuttle stops on the Islands, convenient for getting downtown.

The Whaler’s Inn has literally anything and everything you need! It is a bit out of town, but nice to get away from the hustle and bustle and relax, and easy and reasonably priced Ubers are readily available.

The room was very pleasant, and the staff, whom I never met in person, helpful and accommodating. The major problem with this property is the location. The nearest place to have breakfast is about two miles away. So if you don't have a car, it's inconvenient. The best thing to do in that case is to rent a bicycle in town.

Room was very clean, updated with lovely nautical decor. Hosts were responsive. Nice safe area and convenient to downtown. Quiet neighborhood. Lobby filled with snacks to purchase. Of note: Adjoining wall was thin and could hear neighbors TV and conversations. Lobby is unlocked and room door had an entry code but could use a dead bolt for added safety. Overall, a very pleasant stay and would come again!

A little gem

The Whaler's Inn was nice and very clean. The beds were comfy and the bathroom well appointed. My only suggestion would be to have a hamper in the bathroom for dirty towels. We were in a room with a shared bathroom and other guests left used wash cloths and towels on the bathroom floor and it was a little gross. Other than that, everything was perfect and would definitely stay again.

We stayed in the king room with private bath. This is really an Airbnb type rental with a few bedrooms for rent within a residential home. Nice, spacious and tastefully decorated room. It was clean, with a comfy bed, and relatively quiet, away from town. Self check in was easy, and we didn't even see the owners or other guests our whole stay. Our only issue was the parking situation. You have to park a bit of a distance from the house, so be prepared to carry your luggage, coolers, etc a ways and up one or two flights of narrow stairs (depending which room you are in). Parking is at a premium in the neighborhood, so each evening all the parking spots were filled by 6pm (in the off season, mid week, and before Memorial weekend, so I can't imagine what summer is like!) This means you'll have to park at a nearby business overnight, and go move your car before they open around 630am. There are coffee and snacks in the foyer, but be aware there is a charge for them. The king room does have an Nespresso machine but no mugs were provided in the room. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would give this 5 stars if the parking wasn't such a problem, and if complimentary coffee was provided. The owners were quick to respond when we contacted them.

Everything was excellent. The owners where very pleasant and helpful. The guest house was clean and beautifully decorated. The had drinks, coffee and snacks available for a minimum fee. The access to the pool was great too. I would definitely book again.
