Very convenient location. Breakfast was very good day 1 and good day 2. Tables and courtyards were lovely. Not as much maintenance of coffee bar in our building but we made it work. Rooms were extra clean and we'll appointed. One room on 2nd floor was a bit tight to have a suitcase. Would definitely stay again.

The front desk girl was extremely personable. The hotel provided bikes, beach towels & beach bags. They also served a light breakfast, muffins, coffee, etc. It was within walking distance of town and Jetties and Children's beaches, yet off the beaten path. We loved our stay here and look forward to coming back again!

John and Kara ROCK IT! Thank you guys for the hospitality and the amazing service delivery of excellent! It’s a blessing to feel part of a family unit and not just “a guest.” I am home here and can’t wait to see you again. The property was beautiful, clean and staff were quite helpful and friendly. The breakfast was wonderful! Delicious smoked salmon, fresh fruit, yogurt and lots of great choices of baked goods. The chocolate croissant - delish! Close proximity to town, lovely garden setting with a nice veranda, and seating areas outside. TONS of great restaurants in walking distance from casual to more upscale. Brant point lighthouse nearby, tons of lovely shops at the wharf. Loved the hotel, loved Nantucket and will definitely be back!!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Would not recommend the Chapman house upper floors for elderly as the steps are narrow, steep and hard to navigate, but what a beautiful historic building!!

We were booked in a queen suite in the Chapman House on the 3rd floor. Room was over $500 a night and the room was probably no larger than 8x10 sq ft but the bathroom was larger and was OK. From the green floor there are 2 flights of stairs to the 3rd floor for a total of 27 steps. If you’re not in good shape, forget it. Breakfast in the morning was great with a wonderful selection of food. Breakfast is served next door at the Verander. So it’s up and down the stairs for breakfast. No elevators at the Chapman. Overall a nice property with excellent staff. Overpriced?? Definitely.
