Very cool place to stay; nice pool and quick access to the beach. My cabin was comfortable, clean and perfectly cold for the summer. The staff I interacted were all very pleasant and helpful. Great place to stay.

The cottages are very comfortable and clean. The restaurant is one of the best on island. The only special consideration is the low hum of noise from the restaurant which is located right next to the cottages. It’s over by the restaurant closing at about 11PM, but creates a hum of group conversation until then. The drive from Sconset to downtown takes about 15 minutes so renting a car is useful.

Helpful staff! Make sure to review the check in information, there is a specific window of time! My room and bed were absolutely cozy and cute. I’d advise against staying in a cottage close to the restaurant in the summer if you are looking for absolute quiet due to the fact some are in immediate proximity to the outdoor dining area. Overall amazing stay, especially being so close to a beach with attached dining!

The hotel has tons of potential but is disappointing. The setting is amazing. The landscaping is beautiful but everything else was subpar. The breakfast is cereal, cold muffins and yogurt. Cleaning staff is friendly but hotel staff is no where to be found. Checkin and checkout is done with cleaning staff. Room could use some upkeep and maintenance. For the very high price they charge no worth it at all.

I really wanted to love this property but for the price, it’s really quite outdated. There isn’t a dedicated check in place. The person checking us in could not be bothered to get out of her high chair to help us. It would have been helpful to let us know what was available to us like complimentary water. For a place that has small cute cottages, the warmth with the staff was lacking. The person she asked to show us where the cottage was (I think) a patron of the bar. I’m not really sure. A small tour would have been helpful. A little introduction to what was available in town would have been helpful. A water would have been helpful. A smile in our direction would have been helpful. We would have taken anything. And believe me, we asked questions to be met with a little attitude and an impression of “well duh this is how we do it”. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Again. I really wanted to like it.
