Rooms were very clean and the hotel smelled very nice overall. Hotel setup was a bit weird. The check in lobby was actually on the 23rd floor, so you don't get that initial grand lobby feel when you walk through the main entrance. The hotel is also connected to a very nice shopping center with plenty of shipping and food options. It is also very close to Xuanwu lake. The staff was super helpful and nice. We needed an extra wheelchair for my parents and one of the manager went out of his way to borrow it from a different hotel for us since their has an issue with the wheel. We also forgot something in the room after check out and they helped us ship it to our next hotel in Shanghai. Overall, a positive experience.

Worst experience, ever!

My stay at Nanjing Westin was the worst in my life so far. Went for breakfast around 9:45 AM, waitress guided me to a table for two, but right after I sat down, a man came and told me itโ€™s his table. I had to find a waitress to get me another table, unfortunately tables were nearly full until i saw 4-5 guests about to leave, but thereโ€™s a kid so foods were all over the place near the baby seat. I asked the waitress to clean the table and floor so that i can get seated, it took maybe 5 minutes for them start doing the cleaning and they seemed not be aware of the inconvenience they brought to customer. When my friend came and found the table is still not ready, we started looking for other table and there were two guests about to leave, so we finally got seated. Apart from the poor experience during breakfast, the sink in the room was not clean at all, since I was pretty tired, i decided not to argue with the hotel which i now think i should have done it. When i checked out, i told front desk what i have been through and she was very sorry about it. She offered me free afternoon tea or buffet dinner which is kind, but i didnโ€™t want to go the hotel again.
