A lovely quirky hotel with very friendly, welcoming staff and an excellent breakfast (check out the pancake making machine and freshly squeezed OJ!) Suggest booking ahead if you want to eat in either of the restaurants as they were fully booked when we arrived but the chap on reception gave us several recommended lical restaurants in walking distance and then booked a lively little fanily run Italian restaurant for us. Disappointing Stay

We chose this hotel based upon it's rating of "fabulous". This was the worst of the 8 hotels we stayed in Belgium on this trip. We verified the hotel had air conditioning and chose a room that had 2 twin beds. The A/C turned out to be a portable fan. We got a double bed, not very comfortable for tall people. The room was hard to find, and I had to carry suitcases over 4 flights of 5 steps each to get there. The rainfall shower head was too low for a tall person. There is no rooftop terrace as advertised. I could go on, but you get the picture. Would not stay here again.
