“予約完了後、数時間でホテル側から「設備の破損があり修理に4〜5日掛かる。キャンセルしてくれ」とのメールが来た。 この時点でキャンセル料が100%掛かる時間帯。 こちらからキャンセル手続きをすると宿泊代が戻らないかもしれないと考えてそのままにしておき東京の窓口に電話。 何度かけても時間を変えて掛けても日にちを変えて掛けても繋がらない。祝日で休みだったのかもしれないが旅先で問い合わせ窓口に電話が全然繋がらないのはとても困る。 当日、直接ホテルに出向くが看板が無く分かりにくい。 やっと見つけたら開いていない。誰もいない。 隣のアパートにオーナーか従業員が居たので事情を聞くと、彼らからキャンセル手続きはした。彼らにもサイト側からの返信が無いとのこと。 最終的に数日が経過して代金の払い戻しのメールが届いた。 窓越しに眺めた部屋はサイトの紹介通り良さそうな感じだったので泊まれなかったのは残念だ。 入口の階段に多数の野良犬の糞が落ちていたのはいただけない。 また同じ地域に行くことがあれば今度は泊まって評価を出したいと思う。”

“My travel agent had originally booked me a hotel inland, but I couldn’t visit Sri Lanka’s coastline without spending a night by the beach. I found this hotel on Hotels.com, and I’m so glad I did! The location ( right on a quiet, scenic stretch of beach) was peaceful and beautiful. Most of the time, I had the beach almost entirely to myself. The room was spacious, spotless, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The pool was lovely too, but honestly, the beachside area was just too perfect not...
