The Kempinski is the only hotel i will now stay in when visiting Nairobi. The staff are incredible. So professional and they take real pride in their work. The hotel is beautiful. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Lovely hotel, room is spacious & clean. Staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Feel very safe with the security at the hotel. Spa is amazing, pool area is wonderful and the pool is just the right temperature. Breakfast is delicious with lots of choice including custom made eggs to order. Vast variety of juices and fruit. Coffee is exceptionally delicious. Food in the Arabic restaurant is also very tasty. Love this hotel, can’t say enough good things!

I really wanted to love Villa Rosa, but unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. The facilities and rooms feel dated, and my spa experience was the worst I’ve ever had. The spa locker room was extremely overcrowded with nowhere to change, use the restroom, or even get a locker. My purse had to be kept at the front desk. Our massage started 40 minutes late and felt very disjointed, with much of the time spent setting up the room during our appointment. After I complained, it took three days to get a response, and the only offer was a complimentary ride to dinner. The positives were the breakfast and a few exceptional staff members, especially Fairfax. However, overall, the rooms, amenities, and service need significant improvement. I’m now staying at the JW Marriott Nairobi, and the difference is night and day. The JW Marriott is by far the superior hotel.

Staff were very good, hotel is very impressive. Alas, the noise from the traffic is loud, the rooms would benefit from a significant upgrade to the double-glazed patio doors to the balconies, if I stayed again, then I would book a smaller room facing away from the expressway.
