Breakfast at Golden Tulip was the best and I had my best black masala tea there. Only thing I didn’t like was the translucent wall design between the bedroom and the bathroom. Otherwise everything else was pretty much good. Plus the lunch options they had were good too.

The hotel is quite suitable for a short duration stay. Rooms are clean, staff okay, not as friendly as they could be. Everyone seemed unhappy or upset. The food is not that great for the price and not very well prepared. The lobby coffee and pastry shop was really good. Overall security was good but the neighborhood was challenging. Recommend being extremely vigilant if arriving or departing at night on foot.

My new favourite hotel in Nairobi

What a great hotel. The rooms are big, bright and comfortable. The service is friendly and efficient. The breakfast buffet is amazing. The service is friendly and efficient. And it's excellent value! This is my new favourite hotel in Nairobi. The gym deserves a special mention. It has a wide range of machines and free weights and expert trainers. It has outside members, so everything is well maintained.

We had 2 unexpected nights in Nairobi and chose this hotel due the proximity of visiting things of interest. There is a shopping mall close by with options for lunch and dinner. The hotel had a great selection for breakfast and very good room service dinner, excellent gym and the rooftop bar and pool was nice to have, you cant lie out in the sun though.

I thought this hotel was wonderful. Safe gated place. Breakfast buffet was amazing. It had a lot of variety and tasty food. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. I had to leave my baggage for a few days because I was leaving Nairobi and they were very kind to hold on to my bags. Overall I had a great experience

Our stay was great. We stayed for one night arriving from a safari, completely exhausted. The check-in was quick and easy and the staff was so friendly and helpful, always concerned about our safety. The room was very spacious and clean. We ordered room service, which arrived very quickly and the food was delicious. The breakfast buffet had a nice variety and the food was tasty as well. All in all we felt very safe and enjoyed our stay.

The property was good, everyone who-worked there was nice, helpful and Courteous, the complementary breakfast buffet was very good, the other restaurants in the building were excellent. Superbe large spacious room with everything one needs. Pressure of water in bathroom was amazing. Room were cleaned properly. Breakfast was a 5 stars. Lots of choices. But mattress was old and uncomfortable, could not sleep properly, has to be changed. Room 814 to avoid.
