Can do better

Not clean, strong smoke odor, drains don’t drain, 2 of 3 tvs don’t work but location and beach access excellent, dishes and cooking tools sufficient and stove seems new.

Cozy vintage beach cottage. Easy access to beach, quiet. Perfect for offseason getaway for a few days. People have been coming back to these cottages for decades for good reason. We loved the kitchen with full size appliances and lots of space. Pack your groceries and cook all your meals here, the cottage was perfect for a family of 4. Comfortable beds in two bedrooms. Nice living room/dining room. We spent four nights and were not disappointed.

The house smelled terribly of cigarette smoke. The floors were very sandy in the rooms downstairs . The master bed upstairs has this giant hump in the bed so don’t expect to sleep if there is more than one of you in the bed . The house is not very clean , there wasn’t someone else’s hair on the bed cover upstairs there was hair in the shower, food behind the couches. Nice location to the beach and roomy for 6 people .

it just needs a little updating, the kitchen drawer was broke, it was clean, all of the soap dispensers were empty. it was very spacious, loved the layout, I asked for a late checkout and they gave it to me. when I checked in the door code did not work, I saw an employee and he helped me then they messaged with a new code. staff and cleanliness were great, just really needs updated.

Cottage reeked of smoke and something else. Everything in cottage was cheap and shabby. Sand on furniture, in floor, etc. Only possible positive was location. My five year old epileptic son started having a reaction to the smell and we had to leave and find another place. Contacted Orbitz about a refund and they said property owner refused. DO NOT BOOK this property! You're better off pitching a tent on the beach than staying here.

This place was a total dump. There was a single mattress on top of a frame... the bed was so uncomfortable, we couldn't sleep. The room was completely outdated. There were no couches to sit on... only the wooden dinner chairs and the beds. We would never recommended this place to anybody. There only plus was its location to the beach

We'll Be Back

Aside from not having a labeled parking spot for cabin #12, I dont have anything bad to say. Clearly you are not renting this spot for it's modern day curb appeal and if you are bougie and expecting above par conditions, don't bother. When we walked inside, we were certainly blown away with how spacios and neat things were. We are used to the country and our home is older so this place made us feel like home. We will certainly be back.

This place is a dump!

Smells like mold, flies coming in through broken fan in kitchen, cable tv difficult to use, no hair dryer. This place looks like it was built in 1930 and other than a coat of paint and some cosmetic repairs, it remains in that era. I’ve seen better bathrooms and shower stalls in campgrounds.

The place is older but clean. The only issue we had was parking. The parking lot has inches and feet of sand blown into the spaces. Walkway to the beach, steps and walkway were completely covered in sand. Not easy to park or turn around. Other than the parking problem, would definitely stay again.
