Front desk gave me a ref# on paper and instructed to enter into kiosk and scan our passports. Thats pretty much my check in. Wife asked in Japanese about hotel details and such, maybe because I dont speak they didn’t bother. Cons: room cramped-no room for luggage. Mine was on rack and open with half on bed (at foot of bed) for access while wife’s was on floor (at side between desk and bed) rendering desk inaccessible basically. No water in room. Wife called front desk and told can drink tap water. Water machine on first floor but need container to fill up. Had to use empty water bottle. No coffee in room either. There’s family mart at lobby but not 24hrs and small pop up kind (so not very conbini for me). Location kind of out of the way for my taste. Pros: free breakfast buffet (but only okay for me, nothing special). Also shuttle to nagoya station was good. Price was decent but wouldn’t return.

Enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It is about 20 mins walk to the Osu shopping centre and about 15 mins walk to the metro. They do have a free shuttle to the metro if you need it and the breakfast is pretty good.

Our stay was okay. We got a twin room which was a good size, however the beds were too hard and the pillows uncomfortable. I am not sure if that is a Japanese thing, but we didn’t find it comfortable. The room cleaning only included change of towels and making the bed but not proper cleaning. They have a family mart in the hotel which is handy and free shuttle to Nagoya Station, however the shuttle wasn’t working when we arrived or when we left so we could t make use of it. They charged to provide a towel for my son which i did not appreciate. The breakfast had a lot of options but more lunch items than breakfast, no fruits. And the hotel was always busy. The laundry facility is handy, and they have lots of elevators which is good as well. I guess more breakfast options and a more comfortable bed would improve our stay, but overall it was a good value for the price.

It's a little far from the station. You need to use the shuttle bus. It's convenient that there is a simple convenience store on the first floor. Breakfast closes a little earlier than check-out time, so it's recommended to use TOGO.
