“Good place for a night away, Staff very friendly and helpful i loved the little extras of female products in the bar toilet. Great place to walk outside with an added extra of ducks and chickens on the grounds. very good food portions and a nice cooked breakfast (bacon could do with a bit longer under the grill in my opinion but that's personal choice) the room was clean but would have benefit of having a fan in the room. “The double room was clean & fresh but the 'standard' size double bed does not compare well with the more usual 'queen' size provided in hotels in this price range. The staff were brilliant ambassadors for the hotel - Maisie & Jenny in particular - always attentive, always happy to engage with guests, always thinking ahead to anticipate the needs of their guests. “AVOID THE HOTEL VERSION OF A SUPERMARKET SELF SERVICE TILL. No staff AT ALL on site. You’re sent a code to get in. The room was horrid. Broken bed, rips in curtain.
