The Fredonia is the best place to stay in Nacogdoches by far! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were robbed of all of our luggage on our way from Houston and upon our arrival, the front desk staff provided all 7 of us with new tooth brushes, toothpaste, dental floss and deodorant for free. They also gave us vouchers for a free breakfast. The rooms were nice and clean with great entertainment options. The restaurant was amazing with great food and fast service. We are so thankful to the staff at the Fredonia. They made our stay so comfortable. We highly recommend staying at The Fredonia if you ever find yourself in beautiful Nacogdoches, Texas.

A lovely vintage hotel built in 1955. Updated with wonderful decor, spotlessly clean, super nice staff. We had drinks by the awesome pool and ate at the City Cafe the next morning which was wonderfully tasty. Glad we finally got to stay here!

Nice hotel but really pricy for one of the smallest rooms we have ever stayed in at a hotel. The front desk staff was not especially friendly or welcoming. I felt like an inconvenience the entire time we were checking in. The fitness room is great. The food and service in the restaurant were terrific. Don’t think I would stay here again.

This is the only hotel in town where you can walk to the winery and restaurants. If you don’t want leave the hotel the bar and restaurant offer everything you you’d need. The town historical tour is easy to start from the hotel. On the 4 th of July the fireworks are on your doorstep. Because the hotel is a renovation from the past rooms very in size. Look at the room detentions when you book. My only negative is that rooms are cheaper on sites like Expedia. The hotel will not match the rates.
