Vacations Close To NASCAR Hall of Fame

We only stayed overnight. The location was easy to find and many restaurants close by, some within walking. The hotel is clean, and newly remodeled. Quiet, off the main roadway. Check in and out very easy. Staff very pleasant. Plenty of parking, save and secure. Everything we needed for the overnight. Great place to stay for the money for short stay, within 8 mins driving to the airport. Thank you. We will see you again.

The room smelled musty and the carpet felt wet when you walked on it.

Street noise kelt us up, Otherwise nice, but not exceptional. the staff was great.

Very clean and exactly like the pictures. I love the fridge and microwave most hotels today do not have that. Housekeeping cleaned everyday and if for some reason we didn’t need them to clean but just needed extra towels they gave it with no hesitation. Staff was extremely nice. The only thing I didn’t like and was not aware of before hand was the $10 nightly parking. Keep in mind it’s self parking so that was a bummer.

This is not a terrible hotel; however, it is unworthy of being a mainline Hilton branded hotel. The area promised a boardwalk full of shops, but half of the spaces were empty or the businesses were closed. The parking situation was strange and off-putting. The staff did not know there was a text option, did not understand the system or questions/fields asking for information, and were generally disinterested in being helpful in any way. The executive lounge staff was unable to help with anything, which is absolutely not in keeping with the Hilton ideals in the rest of the world's Hilton Executive lounges. The bathroom in the executive level room was so small the door could barely be shut if one was standing in the bathroom. The bathroom counter was dominated by a large basin on top of the counter, leaving almost no room to set toiletries. The towels were cheap feeling and small. Neither the blinds nor the blackout curtains could be shut properly. There was a creepy-looking security guy in a tactical vest in the parking lot staring down everyone trying to get into the hotel, and he approached several guests unloading their vehicle and then just stood there uncomfortably close while saying nothing. We will never come back to this Hilton, and I cannot recommend strongly enough nobody else stays there until they have a complete overhaul of staff and management.
