The highlight of my stay was the hotel's breathtaking view, especially from the dining area. Watching the sun set over Lake Mývatn  was truly unforgettable. The room was exceptionally clean and well maintained, making for a very comfortable stay.

3rd time we have stayed here. One of our all time favorite hotels. Lake view rooms are amazing. Lake view dining is a must. Usually fet to see sheep wondering by the dining area or parking lot. All around lovely experience and we will continue to stay here every time we are in the north of Iceland.

The property was amazing! The woman at the front desk welcomed us and even upgraded our room as we were on our honeymoon. Entering our room everything was very tidy, they even had a small plate of treats to congratulate us. We spent some time in the sauna and loved it. They had water on tap, as well as shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion for you to use in the shower. We enjoyed happy hour at the bar and the bartender was very nice. We stayed for the breakfast buffet and they had a great variety to choose from. We loved our stay and would highly recommend.

Our room was modern, spotless, and very comfortable—and the large window was the best part: we were able to see the Northern Lights from our room without even going outside, which was unforgettable. The on-site restaurant was also excellent with great views, and everything from check-in to parking was easy. Perfect base for exploring the Mývatn area.

Quality. Roads had closed due to high winds the night before and asked them on Expedia at 6 in the morning if the road would be open by check-in time and they replied in like 3 minutes they would be cleared :) Buffet breakfast had the full range. Located right next to Myvatn Snowmobiling with beautiful places like Hverir, Hverfjall and Grjótagjá nearby!
