Overall a good hotel for what you're paying for. Nothing fancy, but it got the job done. Can't beat the convenience to the beach. We got a room with a kitchenette, but it only came with a few pots and pans and nothing else, so that was disappointing. The room was non-smoking, but it still had a faint smoke smell to it.

My husband and I recently stayed at The Windsurfer. Although the hotel is older and not as modern,it was super clean. The staff was absolutely amazing. The grounds were well-kept as well. The pools were also very clean and nice. Our housekeeper, Ms. B was just a joy and very particular about the cleanliness of the room. We will definitely stay again.

First off you’re at Dirty Myrtle if you’re expecting perfection you will be let down. This hotel is clean for Myrtle beach and the location is absolutely perfect. I feel like a lot of these reviewers never stayed in Myrtle beach before because your expectations are $2000 a night and your only spending $200 night so if you keep this in mind you’ll be glad you stayed here. If you expect perfection pay the money for it. The staff was extremely good and I’ve stayed here for years the Owner has personally emailed me before and made right ANY time we had a problem at this hotel therefore I will never stay any where else.
