We really enjoyed our stay at voco the Shelby Myrtle Beach . A big thanks to Michaël , veronica and all the staff for making sure that we felt welcomed and have everything we needed . They all made sure that our stay would be as pleasing as possible and we all really appreciate it . The room was very clean and the ocean view was very beautiful.We will come back.

I chose the reserve now and pay later option however, when I got to the hotel, my reservation was canceled,The property tried to charge me before I got there and when the payment didn’t go through, they canceled my reservation. Other than that the pool was great. The beach was amazing.

Awesome breakfast in a restaurant at the building. Parking was right across the street. We did beachview, which made for sunsets and moonrises over the water. Room air conditioning was cold enough on a 90+ day. Easy walk to beach, pool is nice, places to wash the sand off. There are beach chair and umbrella rentals at the beach or buy your own gear from beach stores nearby. (They sell everything you might need,) Close walk to the cool boardwalk stuff.

We loved this place. We got an oceanfront room and everything was clean and comfortable. Very convenient place . Walk to the beach and my kids enjoyed the pool so much. Also everything was close that we just have to walk around. There were restaurants, stores, souvenirs etc. We are definitely coming back. Super recommend it!!Excellent experience.

The Shelby is a great hotel. Be advised this is not a 5 star hotel! This small, boutique style hotel has great vibes and friendly staff. The overall hotel still could use some upgrading, but i will definitely be back!

This was an OK room while they went under renovations last June the exterior and elevators could use some maintenance and updates. The amenities were OK. The rooms were decorated nice. Glad that this was pet friendly with a pet fee. That was not ridiculously outrageously expensive. Would stay here again if they updated it to a more Luxe resort style feel but the bathroom had a weird sewage smell elevator shook exteriors, and hallway is kind of look like a place where questionable things happen other than that the stay was great. My room was right on the beach oceanfront. The balconies could be a little bigger, but it was OK for what it was.

Very friendly staff and always available, no long lines. Room very clean. Hotel - elevators and hallways need update asap. Pool clean and super fun with tiki bar and music. Chairs and cushions / concrete clean and good condition. To get to great this hotel needs to do reg maintenance / cleaning in the pool / halls and entrance exterior area. Our room was super clean with vinyl flooring and newer furniture etc.
