We absolutely enjoyed our stay. First time here and we were surprised at all this place had to offer. There was no need to leave the property as they had everything you could need right there. The room was nice, view of the ocean, and staff was very helpful and polite. Will definitely stay again in the future!

We stay at Sands Ocean Club often. We love Shore Dr., Ocean Annie's beach bar, Sandals and the atmosphere. The hotel itself is a little dated, but is clean. There are good restaurants within walking distance and just about anything is no more than a short drive. The beach is wide so you have plenty of room even at high tide. I have stayed at hotels where the tide comes completely up to the sea wall. It's also far enough from downtown Myrtle Beach that you don't worry about crime.
