We've be going to Sands Ocean Club for years. We love the fact that it's right on the beach and in a calmer part of Myrtle Beach. The kids love it for the lazy river and pools.

Ocean Sands is always a wonderful time. The rooms are always clean, POOLS AND HOT TUBS ARE GREAT. Sands is my go to beach get away with pools, entertainment, great bar and service. Its a one stop shop for a great Myrtle Beach vacation.

We really like coming here and enjoy the tiki bar and the restaurant. However, the rest of the hotel needs to really be cleaned and updated, the beds could be more comfortable. Overall needs a modern look and it would be perfect. Also, I’ve been here at least eight times and it always smells like weed….

Room was a tad dirty when checking in. Sheets and towels were replaced but trash wasn’t fully taken out. Sand was just pushed into the corner of the bathroom. And doesn’t seem like much of the room was sweeper or vacuumed. View was great - prime location for all adventures. Overall a good experience minus the room being a tad messy.

This is a really great place to stay! The building is a little bit older but it is well-kept. I've stayed at this resort four times now and I intend to go back. Everything you need is right there on site especially during the in season. I do enjoy going there during the fall but most of the amenities are shut down at that time save for the indoor swimming pool and hot tubs. Ocean Annies is not to be missed! Excellent time!Excellent service! We always have a blast! You definitely get a lot of bang for your buck!

If you’re into night life - you will enjoy the band that plays every night till 11pm down at the pool/snack bar area. However if you are planning on the beautiful sound of just ocean-that will be difficult to find from your balcony . We were very underwhelmed by the lack of cleanliness in our bathroom, uncomfortable mattress and the overall Quality Inn feeling. We appreciated the last minute ocean front reservation; however the wall to a neighboring room was so thin we could hear a very heated conversation that continually woke us up all through the night. Very Sad
