We got a beachfront room and was the perfect hotel for our family! Was disappointed the bowling spot was not ready yet and the parking was annoying as everything was pretty much taken up and would drive in circles until a spot opened. Everything else was great!

The property is under renovation. We had to travel through the parking garage to get to the elevator to our rooms. Staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Showers lacked adequate hot water.

The service is amazing we visit every year and love to stay at the same resort with great service everytime. The staff are friendly and very helpful, our WiFi and phone went out and they fixed it same day. Love the fresh warm towels at the pool and the clean outdoor pool and hot tub. The views are a 10/10 from our room with the ocean view can’t wait to see the new updates from the renovations. My family of 5 are always comfortable and love our annual visit to Myrtle Beach

There is a lot of construction going on. Website says there is breakfast but there was not. I booked a partial view was but the palm trees block view. Pools were perfect. Room was clean. About a 15 mins walk to Kingdom park.

Horrible customer service from front desk staff. Lobby under renovation so you have to check in at the restaurant across the street and enter the hotel from the back stairs or the parking garage which is dark. Kitchenette room was clean and decent but there is no housekeeping daily or when you call for towels they don’t bring any. I had to go to the lobby in the pouring rain just to get towels after I requested them hours earlier in the day.

The best feature of the hotel was the pool area, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Unfortunately, our overall stay was impacted by several issues with our room. One of the televisions was not functioning properly and operated through a Fire Stick rather than standard cable service. In addition, the air conditioning did not cool the room effectively. Our room was located near a parking deck, and throughout the night we could hear birds chirping continuously. The noise was quite disruptive, especially since we were unable to use the television to help mask the sound. We requested a room change, but the hotel was fully booked and no other rooms were available. Despite these inconveniences, I would like to recognize the front desk staff and manager for being courteous, professional, and helpful during our stay.

The Property is in a perfect oceanfront location..there are restaurants within walking distance and a Walmart Neighborhood Market within a 5 minute drive.. lots of Pool options and if you have little ones they will love the pirate ship splash pool.. our room was located next to Arcade on 9th floor which had lots of fun games.. during our stay there the Resort was still undergoing construction for their new amenities and lobby but it didn’t affect our stay there .. it was just a little bit confusing as to where to check in and how to enter the property to our room because the front desk check in person was very rude and did not give us good directions.. the room was spacious and well maintained the bed comfortable refrigerator and microwave worked very good and air conditioning worked great as well the view from balcony was awesome !! Over all it was a great stay.. don’t let the attitude and rudeness of the front desk personnel deter you .. every other person that worked there was very nice

We drove four hours and purposely arrived around 8:00 PM, even though check-in begins at 4:00 PM, expecting our reserved room to be ready. Instead, it wasn’t. We were first placed in a downgraded room with no kitchen, a broken shower, and what appeared to be water damage around the A/C unit. After multiple room changes and hours of waiting, we weren’t placed in an acceptable room until nearly 10:00 PM. The front desk staff working that evening seemed inexperienced and unable to provide clear answers or resolve the situation efficiently, making an already frustrating experience even worse. The hotel is also undergoing significant construction inside and outside the property, something guests should be aware of. Pool towels were frequently unavailable, and the bartender/server we encountered wasn’t very friendly or welcoming. The positives were the oceanfront room we eventually received and the housekeeping and maintenance staff, who consistently kept the bathrooms and common areas clean. Captain Quarters has a great location, but the poor check-in experience, lack of communication, room readiness issues, and customer service overshadowed our stay. I’m still waiting for Expedia to receive a response from the hotel regarding compensation for the inconvenience.

This is the first resort that I had to pay for parking and an upfront damage fee for the room. The bowling alley is being renovated, and we did not get the chance to experience it. This was the only reason I chose to stay here, was the onsite bowling alley because our family loves to bowl. The game room was very small with limited games offered. The parking was limited, but they did have an overflow across the street. The room was spacious, but I had to clean the bathroom again. The staff was friendly. I only stayed because a friend hyped it up more than what it actually is. I don't think we will be revisiting here.
