“We chose this as a pet-friendly, one night stopover, after a ferry crossing, Santander to Portsmouth. Great, and quirky, little property, well-placed for the ferry port and run by a lovely lady who provides absolutely everything needed for a perfect, short stay. We wish we had discovered it earlier as it closes at the end of this year. Such a shame. We would have returned. Best wishes to our hostess. But thank you for a lovely stay and we were delighted by the local dining choices. ”

“Beautiful boutique hotel, GREAT staff and location. Room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet was delicious, with the usual selections PLUS a cooked-to-order hot traditional English breakfast with a beautiful room to enjoy it in, and wonderful staff members to serve you. Front desk staff were very helpful to arrange transportation to Heathrow. A wealth of restaurants and shopping just a short walk away, as is the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and the train station. “Perfect location for a stay close to family who live in Southsea. Everything we needed, including a bar to relax for an hour before bed. Free coffee and water in reception was awesome. All amenities on the doorstep in a wonderful safe environment. I would stay here every time.”
