Vacations Close To Tilghman Watermen’s Museum

I had an issue with my Expedia booking and the front office staff couldn’t have been more helpful.

Good experience overall. Hotel doesn’t offer an early check-in.

Check-in was easy and fast. Staff gave us a short tour and brief history of the property (and it was in the welcome book too). The room, bed, chairs were perfectly cozy and quiet enough, even though it was near the front entry. Breakfast (included) at the country club’s grill room was the nothing special but nice to have in such a remote area if you don’t want to go out. We didn’t get to enjoy the porch or other outdoor spaces because it was windy and rainy, but the view was very nice. We enjoyed a tour of a local grist mill, and had an amazing dinner just down the road after a day at one of the many wineries in the area. The next morning we stopped to see Middleburg. The inn is in an ideal location for a weekend getaway.

Good stay. The blinds didn’t go all the way down leaving lights beaming in the room all night and the hot water was lukewarm.
