Vacations Close To Dr. Josephus Hall House

The place is located in the hood. The room carpet in our room was wet from air condition. They couldn't change our room until the next day. The microwave was nasty, the breakfast was horrible. No tea, lemons, or honey. only strawberry yogurt. The bare minimum. No other options. The juice taste nasty like the filter needed changing. When you first pull up trash on ground. No security, homeless people standing around outside. Walls dirty only the first floor looked ok. Carpet filthy in room and hallway. Staff was trying with the resources they have. I ask to speak with a manager none on duty I was told.

Walking into the hotel I was overwhelmed with some kind of fragrance they had treated the entry with, to find that every floor, the elevator, our room, all had been treated with a strong fragrance. Gave me a headache and asthma attack. The coffee maker in the room was broken, the door to the closet came off its runner when I opened it. The Air conditioner rattled badly. Not a good stay.

Loved it! Great location if you are going to an event @ Spectrum Center.

Restaurant staff was wonderful as was the front desk!

Nothing special. Hotel seems tired. Rooms also. Smells stale. Not very good amenities or even places to plug in phone charger next to the bed. Shower didn’t shower, was just like a large tap. Tub didn’t drain so ended up standing in a couple of inches of water while taking a shower. On the plus, the shuttle and location are very convenient and the shuttle driver was very helpful and friendly, even at 6 am.

Clean room, plenty of space, great service

The whole property was delightful
