Vacations Close To Museo Regional de Oriente

I booked this stay through Expedia and arrived around 3 PM for check-in. The property is absolutely adorable and tucked away in a quiet side street right by the ocean. The location is amazing with everything bein within a 1–5 minute walk, and the pool area is especially beautiful with palm trees, lounge chairs, and a very relaxing vibe. What I loved: •Easy check-in process with a lockbox (no need to carry a physical key) •Thoughtful arrival touches like two cold bottles of water in the fridge •Fully equipped kitchenette with: fridge, plug-in stovetop, pots and pans for cooking, outdoor drying racks for swimsuits and beach clothes •Quiet atmosphere despite being so centrally located •Gorgeous ocean-adjacent setting with a peaceful pool area Important tip (very important!): •Google Maps will NOT take you directly to this exact property so you’ll need to navigate to a nearby hotel or landmark and walk the rest of the way •I recommend arranging a drop-off close by and confirming directions ahead of time A few downsides: •Only two towels provided for a 2-night stay, and no extras were available when requested •No hair dryer or face cloths provided •Shampoo and soap in the shower were not labeled •Shower water never got warm Overall: Despite the small issues, I would 100% stay here again. The location, privacy, and overall beauty of the property outweigh the drawbacks. It’s peaceful, walkable, and truly a hidden gem. Just be prepared for a few basic amenities to be limited.

Clean hotel with a beautiful view. The morning staff were friendly, attentive, and very helpful. Unfortunately, our experience with the evening staff was very different. If you're looking for a place to enjoy the view and relax during the day, this hotel can be nice. However, based on our experience, nighttime was a completely different story. We were unable to rest, the nights were honestly a nightmare. This is what happened if you are interested on reading: The first night (Saturday), there was an extremely loud party at the hotel - bar. The noise was so intense that at around 1:15 a.m., we finally had to ask the hotel personal to turn the music down, so they did. Even after our request, the music continued until approximately 2:30 a.m. The second night (Sunday), the bar again played loud music until approximately 11:00 p.m. We know this because we called the hotel directly to ask about the noise, and I believe it was the manager who informed us that the music at the restaurant ends at 11:00 p.m. but it seemed that the manager was not aware of the hotel bar. On Monday, there was a thunderstorm, so everything was closed. I hope management addresses the nighttime noise and staff attentiveness, because the hotel itself has a lot of potential.
