Vacations Close To Los Portales Museum

The gentleman who checked us in was super friendly. But as soon as we got off the elevator to go to the room we were met in the hallway buy a terrible chemical smell of grape. It was also in our room. It smelled like a grapes butt. It had a musty smell to it like maybe they were covering the smell up because of a sewage issue. The room was set to 62 and was freezing. When we got under the blankets they had sprayed that fragrance all over the covers as well. It made me nauseous and even though it was freezing I had to sleep with just a sheet on because it didn't have the smell. The bed was terribly uncomfortable. I did not get a good night's sleep.

Very friendly and helpful staff!

The room was less than clean. There was a big hole in the wall behind the bathroom door. The baseboards were dirty, and there was mold around the tub. The hall carpet was filthy! The elevator barely worked. Ver dissatisfied and will never stay at that place again

Our anniversary stay at The Plaza Hotel Pioneer Park in El Paso was wonderful! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive. They made us feel welcomed and truly made our anniversary feel special. They even went above and beyond by starting our truck every two hours for us. That level of care and willingness to help meant so much and says a lot about their exceptional service. The restaurant staff was equally amazing, and the food was delicious! Our only regret was leaving the hotel for our anniversary dinner at 1700° Steakhouse, which unfortunately didn’t live up to our expectations. We wish we had stayed and enjoyed dinner at The Plaza instead. Thank you to the entire team for making our celebration so memorable. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special getaway with outstanding hospitality!

It is not that convenient to get to the hotel. The road is pretty complex. The hotel is adjacent to a crematorium；I did not know this before I got there. I had to walk through the crematorium front yard to buy my dinner. But the fried chicken restaurant is pretty good.
