Vacations Close To Utsukushi-ga-Hara Open-Air Museum

Overall good clean stay however we stayed 6 nights and they charge for anything outside of trash/towel change. So if you want your room cleaned and bed made up that costs an additional 750-1500 yen.... my only other issue was the noise of cars ripping it by at night because of the main road, but thats not their fault.

This is a beautiful small hotel with lots of traditional japanese decor. It is quiet and peaceful and very elegant. The neighbor is interesting, not at all touristy and very accessible to several different metro lines.

I think they do have updated rooms, I just wasn’t in one. It felt like the room was nice… 30 years ago. I was also told I had free breakfast at check-in but then told I didn’t when I tried to get it. Further, when I tried to get my free drink at the rooftop bar, they gave me a very small menu, our treatment was degraded, and they didn’t even offer us peanuts or water even though they did for everyone else around us. I would not recommend this hotel unless I was coming for work, which seems to be one of the only ways they provide you an updated room. Not worth the price.

We loved having a vending machine inside, and access to a coffee machine for free. The room was well kept, although very small. Staff were friendly. Location was excellent, near excellent restaurants and stores.

Great location. Very quiet but close to a train station and walking distance to many of the sites. The room was very comfortable and very quiet. The hotel staff were lovely.

I dont like that they charge extra for the gym... true of most Japan hotels, but needs to change. Gyms are standard everywhere. Tokyodome is also among the more resonably prices hotels, whay are hotels in Tokyo so expensive? nad then no gym on top of that.

Staff was very helpful! Room was just enough space for 2 people and hotel provides the necessities.

The hotel room was nice and spacious. Clean. Was in-between 2 stations. Dining options for vegitarian limited. They offered luggage transfer which was super handy.
