Older hotel and rooms but well maintained. We travel with a dog and the facility is excellent for walking, very safe area. The room rates are a bit high but there are very few hotels on I 90 in the Murdo, South Dakota area while traveling West to Montana.

This motel was a hidden diamond in Murdo, SD! Very clean and nicely decorated. Dawn went over and above to help us as well as other visitors. Breakfast was served on a chuck wagon style table. There’s a nice pizza place right next door.

Room was spacious and very clean. The front desk people were very friendly and nice ( even had complementary cookies and fresh fruit in the lobby). Did not stay long enough to use the pool. Breakfast was perfect for a quick eat and go.

Quite a unique looking facility. We had a great stay. Place was easily accessible from highway with great parking. Check in was quick with a very friendly employee who readily answered any questions we had. Best of all, it was clean.

The staff was friendly but criticized our home state of Minnesota - I did not get the feeling Democrats were very welcome. Also our bed had crumbs in it and I had to get clean sheets. Otherwise it was fine, our room was large and the beds were comfortable.

The hotel was nicely maintained. The grounds had beautiful flowers. It is located close to a park with a walking path around a pond which was great to exercise our dog in the morning before a long drive. Everyone was super helpful and friendly. The only reason for the 4 start and not 5 star for amenities is bc they did not have shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. It was a great place to overnight after a long day of driving

What a great surprise just off I 90. We wanted to get a couple hours away from Rapid City on our way back east after touring all day in the Black Hills. Found this place and it was awesome. Everything about the hotel was wonderful, staff was great, pool was fun, breakfast was wonderful. One pro tip I’d add, slip away for dinner at the circle E drive-in. Homegrown beef, 7 ounce bacon cheeseburger best we’ve ever had.
