Safe comfortable good-value hotel 4 subway stops from the city center. Good substantial breakfast menu and very helpful and friendly staff. I stay here every October for a conference because it’s close to the conference venue and find it very comfortable and convenient.

Clean and comfortable. I was there for work and this really was perfect. They have a good breakfast spread in the morning and a bar in the lobby but no restaurant. Rooms are economical and but well appointed.

Great stop for Oktoberfest

Stayed with a friend for Oktoberfest for 3 nights, staff were very welcoming and forgiving of our awful German, the room was booked for 3 people however only 2 of us went, this was lucky as there is no way it would have been big enough for 3 people. everything was very clean, easy access to all public transport, no complaints other than the size of the room

My partner and I had a lovely stay at Hotel Wetterstein. We arrived 3 hours earlier than check-in time, the staff members were so lovely and able to accommodate our early arrival. The location is great, not too close to the buzing CBD but not too far away either. The hotel is walking distance from Wettersteinplatz. Thank you again for having us :)

Excellent Hotel, very very close to Wettersteinplatz so very accessible with the U-Bahn even from the Hauptbahnhof (central station which takes 10 mins one way). Excellent service, room was great and immaculate. If you put the sign to not have your room cleaned for a day or so, they give you a free beer or water. Overall great

Nice stay at Wetterstein Hotel with our family. The inside of the hotel was lovely, clean and well kept. The outside was being completely renovated so a bit of a building site. Having said that, apart from it looking rather uninviting we’d didn’t experience any noise as the builders were considerate and tidy. We found the breakfast rather expensive for what was on offer, but loved the free beer if you went green and choose not to have your room serviced every day. A good incentive to think ecologically!

First good things: the staff at the reception was very friendly, breakfast was good and room was clean. Now what we did not like: the room was extremely small. It would be still ok, but we were on 3rd floor which is under the roof, and outer wall is angled, so every time you approach the head is f the bed you can bump your head with ceiling. Also when getting out of the bed you have to be careful not to bump your head. The coat hooks located in the place where if you hang two coats they block the way to the bed. There were only 3 hangers for two people in wardrobe. No complimentary bottled water in the room ( we stayed in many hotels in Germany and they provided water). Bathroom is tiny, with no space to put toiletries near the sink. The towel hook is not actually the hook: it is a rod about 5 cm long (or short?), so the towel keeps falling on the floor all the time. There was no hand lotion or shower cap. While I understand that they can’t make the bathroom bigger, it is still possible to mount a wall shelf for toiletries, mount real hook for towels and provide a water for €100+ a night room.

Great find!

This is a great little hotel! The decor is nothing to write home about but our room was very spacious, as well as clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked well, and overall we found it was quiet provided you don’t have some kid squealing and yelling in a nearby room like we did, however we popped in air plugs and weren’t disturbed by them any further! The carpark is secure and well worth the additional fee. As for location, we thought it was brilliant! The trams and underground are right there - we took the underground and it was only four stops to the centre of town and just a short and pleasant stroll from there to the Marienplatz square. There is a lovely bakery and a convenience store just up from the hotel, and we had dinner at a nearby food truck (10-15 minutes walk) which served burgers one night and tacos the next night -and the food was so amazing we ate there both nights of our stay! Highly recommended if you fancy a short stroll - look for it on google maps. Didn’t eat at the hotel but there is a pleasant looking little bar area in the reception. Overall we were really happy with our stay here. A handy location and a decent price

I had an excellent stay at this hotel and highly recommend it! The location is perfect, as it's very close to the metro station, making transportation incredibly easy. The room was spotless—the carpets were very clean, which I really appreciated. It’s a quiet and peaceful place, ideal for a good night’s rest. Even though I didn’t try the food, the overall quality of the accommodation and the friendly, smiling staff made my experience wonderful. In terms of value for money, it is truly a top-notch place. Definitely recommended!
