The rooms mirrors advertisement. Very small, however the point of a holiday is to be out exploring. The room met the intended purpose. The owners and their dogs were very friendly. I appreciated the hotel and neighborhood was very quiet at night.

Nice place - You get what you pay for

I just needed a place to sleep, old'ish but nice. I think that for the cost it is a good place to stay. I prefer to have breakfast included, which was not an option, but I recommend just walking to Ihle at the other side of the road. Which was nice.

The hotel was OK. Clean, small rooms, with friendly and helpful staff. They let us keep our stuff at the hotel before the check in and after the check-out. All perfectly safe. Not the prettiest and not the fanciest ober all but you get what you pay for. It's a 15 minute walk to the centre of Munich, and there's a lot to eat around. Would return.

the hotel is a bit old, the rooms have carpet, they do not have air conditioning and there is little soundproofing in the rooms. the staff is very helpful, they are present 24 hours a day, there is the possibility of parking your car indoors in their reserved car park at the same price as the public one. the hotel is very well served by public transport, it is about 30 minutes from the center on foot and 35 from the Oktoberfest.

The location was great as we went for Oktoberfest so it was only a 15 minute tram ride, and the tram station is right outside the building. The bathrooms are outdated, very small shower with curtains. Shower head did not come off the holder and it was very low, so hard to shower. There was a small spider in the room as well and dust in some areas.

Outdated but Comfortable

First impressions was that it was in need of an update. I booked here for 2 nights based on its proximity to the stadium for the gig I was going to. I arrived ahead of check-in time and they got me into the room no problem as I needed to take a work call. The chair for the desk was threadbare and uncomfortable for longer than 5mins. The room was small but I didn't need anything bigger for just me. The bed was comfortable - I had a great night's sleep! The staff were all friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

So, yes, the hotel is very dated and drab. The room isn’t so inviting when you arrive at night as the lighting is very low too. The cobwebs up by the curtain rail were off putting also. However, this is my second stay here, and I must say that in regards to cleanliness of the linen, bed, bathroom, the hotel does really well. I did notice a faint odour of cigarettes this time though which was disappointing. The gentleman on reception was extremely welcoming and pleasant, which is rare these days, so a big shout out to him. In terms of price and location it’s great. Just don’t expect luxury, if you’re staying for one or two nights, it’s fine if you’re on a budget and want your own room instead of a hostel.

Value for money, very basic hotel without breakfast option, yet situated a few tram stops from the main station and with plenty of coffee shops around I can accept the fact that this is basically a bed, shower, toilet facility. Friendly staff. Could do with a bit of maintenance though. I would come back here.

For one night it was great. Nice and cheap. 15 minute walk to the main train station, but was close to a park that had some homeless people, although they didn’t really bother anyone and kept to themselves. It was however a 30 minute walk into old town, which is where majority of people speak English and the main restaurants are. Overall, for what I needed, which was a shower and a bed, it was a great price.
