We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Hotel Metropol. The hotel was comfortable, the front desk staff were great and our room was clean and quiet. It was an easy walk from the train station and walkable to many of the sights Munich. The area the next block from the hotel was a little sketchy at night but safety was not an issue.

It was lovely to have a balcony even if there’s a building site opposite. Close to the train station and perfect location to get around sightseeing. All of the staff were friendly but Thomas was definitely the most welcoming!

We stayed here b/c we just needed 2 nights in Munich before we flew out from our trip to Austria. The hotel is very basic, no amenities beyond soap and towels. Beware there is lots of construction around the area but luckily our room was on faced away and we couldn’t hear the noise. We had breakfast included and while there are several choices, the area is quite cramped and can get crowded. everything is self-serve. The hotel serves it’s purpose for the price you pay.
