The rooms were clean and well maintained. They had free water and coffee available to us which we enjoyed each day. The staff was fluent in English and provided us with helpful information. The cherry on top was we got there early and had every intention of storing our bags and coming back to the hotel to check in later, but when we got there the rooms were ready and we were able to freshen up after a long flight and hit the road refreshed. That was such a treat and added to our enjoyment of the trip. We didn't try breakfast or the bar, but heard others raving about it.

I would have given 5* but there is major building works opposite the hotel and whilst they can’t control this aspect it should be mentioned. Also we asked for a quiet room on a high floor and were given a room on the first floor above the garage door which you could hear opening and closing at all hours. That said the hotel is clean nice decor friendly staff and good location so still 4*
