Very much enjoyed our stay. The property was very convenient to the S-Bahn and a short walk to attractions nearby (e.g. Marienplatz). It was also in a quiet neighborhood. Staff was super friendly, breakfast was pleasant although not extravagant, had the basics covered. Our room overlooked a wooded courtyard with a balcony which was nice. All in all, a great value, and a place I'd happily stay at again.

The Admiral Hotel is a lovely hotel that is within walking distance to transportation, restaurants, and Marienplatz! The staff are helpful and courteous. Daily cleaning of our room with fresh towels is a nice treat after a long day of walking as a tourist. Every day the breakfast are excellent with fresh fruit, breads, cereals, etc. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to everyone! We stayed 4 nights.

The Train from the airport stops off at the Deutsche Museum & Isator stations which are very close (otherwise it is a 25 minute walk from the Hauptbahnhof). A really nice neighbourhood close to historic Munich. All the reception staff spoke English and gave useful tips - they were great. Amongst the restaurant choices there is also a great Indian restaurant (Ganga) which is as good as the UK.

Nice hotel with a nice breakfast to start your day. The rooms were on the smaller side with carpeting but clean. It would be nice to better pillows for the bed since they only provided one flat pillow. Overall our stay was pleasant.

We had one night here travelling back home and it was lovely! Easy 5 minute walk from the S station direct S8 to airport. The room was clean and very nice. Breakfast was lovely, the eating area and garden were really nice. The staff was helpful. It was a 35 minute walk to Oktoberfest grounds. Lots of restaurants in the area. Quiet area.

Lovely room in a convenient location to both the river Isar and old town Munich. We appreciated the quieter area for sleeping. Also, air conditioning a must now for summers in Europe. Breakfast buffet had good variety and was of good quality. Glad we took Rick Steve’s recommendation.

At the price point, it would be hard to do much better. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and super quiet, the courtyard breakfast was lovely, and the location was (for us) perfect: Close to Old Town without being too close. If you want a peaceful space that is central to most of what you'd want to do in Munich, this hotel is a great fit.

First and foremost I need to commend the staff. I stayed at the hotel prior to hiking in Italy. I planned on coming back to stay before I flew home and needed to leave some items there while I hiked. They accommodated my request with no problems. I loved that the Marienplatz was a short 10 minute walk from the hotel and the tram and S Bahn stations were less than 5 minutes away. My room and the hotel in general were immaculate.

The location was excellent, the courtyard was beautiful, the breakfast was delicious. The rooms were good. I would have like to have a coffee maker in my room or coffee in the hotel outside of breakfast hours. We had to leave early to catch our flight before breakfast.
