Vacations Close To Mundulea Nature Reserve

Hotel checkin and customer service extremely rude and they showed 0 patience and talk to you as if you own them $10k or something. Gave completely wrong information blatantly and did not show ANY hospitality. Upon checkin they barely greeted me and put on a very impatient face and tone and did not bother to explain parking and where my tower was. When I asked she was like “just follow the signs” without giving much direction at all. My reservation comes with food and beverage credit which the front desk made no mention of and was reluctant when I asked, and when I asked about next day conference checking the front desk gave completely wrong information. Conference checking starts at 12:00 yet front desk blatantly lied that you can’t check- in before 3 and it’s only when I probed that she said “by availability only”. I checked out early asking for a email receipt but never got one and when I called in again the order did not honor the beverage credit. Excuse was I used it the next morning when in fact it happened well before the checkout time and with ANY hotel and that charges resort fee I never had ANY issues redeeming credit before checkout and again even if they want you to do it that same evening, 1. front desk didn’t bother to explain 2. After their “supposed to be checking in time 3:00pm” half of their listed business are already closed so that she point? Again the front desk is extremely “pissed” and rude acting like I’m asking for something unreasonable.

Front Desk Staff was GREAT! We ate outside one night and the FOOD was DEEEE-LISH-US!!!! The only two dislikes were the bed was extremely hard. Was not comfortable...and...being on Ocean Dr, the music played until about 1am(ish). All we heard was the Bass. So if you are an early "bedder", you may not want to stsy as any hotel on Ocean Drive. But overall, the Pelican was nice! (PS: the food was really good!!)
