I booked a suite for the extra comfort. The room was large as expected and clean. Maintenance was a disappointment. The facility is obviously old, however it could be better maintained. The carpeting was crinkled up and needs replacement or at least re-stretching. The plumbing fixtures in the tub are rusted and should be replaced. This is a pretty easy fix. The lighting is awful. There are lots of fixtures, but no place where you have ample light to read or put on makeup. The breakfast was great as was the parking. The rates are reasonable.

This stay was a mixed bag for us. We really enjoyed the pool. It was a good temperature, but the hot tub was closed. Breakfast was excellent and well-stocked. The staff was helpful and friendly. The daily cleaning of the room was good, but it needed a good deep clean. The ceiling fan was filthy and there were old spider webs on the ceiling of the bathroom. Our shower didn't work and we discovered that late.

The room was clean and as we reserved. The fitness room and pool and whirlpool were great to have available. The simple breakfast options had many guests taking part however, when protein and not carbs are our only desired food, it was disappointing to discover a boiled egg that was quite old and slimy once removed from the tray. We obviously decided that perhaps all the hard boiled eggs may not be a viable option. Would recommend in the future a reasonable check by staff before these are set out. The check in process, while efficient, was somewhat cold. We did appreciate the small note left in the room by the housekeeper. It’s the little touches that can sometimes help when there is a shortage elsewhere.
