Super staff and amazing room

The staff and my room was absolutely amazing. Only thing that was bad was the food at one of the restaurant at the hotel. The sushi I ordered was not even close to what I would expect and the drinks were also subpar. Also there is nothing around the hotel, so you have to get yourself a ride a bit out of the area to explore. And getting that ride without using the hotel service is an awful experience and exhausting.

The best stay at any hotel I have ever had

A truly remarkable hotel. I stayed at another Taj property that wasn’t the best experience, surprising as Taj is known for the highest standard of hospitality. That said, this experience at Taj the trees was one of the best experiences I’ve had at any hotel. Every department was brilliant, I could write an essay on the expert service from each staff member, though there is a limit as to what I can write here. I’d recommend anyone stay at this property, easily the best in Mumbai, you will not be disappointed.

An Oasis in Bombay

What a pleasant surprise it was to see this gem at the centre of Industrial Revolution of Bombay ( Godrej Complex) We chose the club room for the size and were very happy with the room. The best part was the unrestricted view of the Mangroves beautifully preserved by the Godrej family since years. The staff was great and took care of all of our needs. Sahil at the club lounge, Sanjay at Shamiana as well as the staff at front desk were great. The Mangrove Bar was amazing as well. Roof too, open views are a rare find in Bombay. This was a staycation for celebrating a birthday. We will surely be back soon.

The room layout is terrible. only 1 mirror, in bathroom, in the room. Water leaking from underneath the shower door. The hotel looks very basic, had high expectation, being Taj. The location is not great, as there is hardly anything around it. Breakfast was standard like other 4* hotels, nothing special. The only good thing was pool and staff were nice and polite and helpful!

Taj welcomes in style, loved it. A little disappointed with food on the first day of stay. Maybe I was comparing with TIQRI and Taj Mahal Palace. Just didn’t get real Taj feeling at The Trees. My disappointment didn’t last long after meeting restaurant manager Navneet. Vaibhav and Narayan are best. They worked hard to bring food to Taj standards. Finally I got same feeling as I expected. Awesome staff and great hospitality as one should expect from Taj. Navneet, Vaibhav and Narayan, Thank you for delicious food. You guys are best. I will see you again shortly. Cheers!!

When we arrived the hotel staff greeted us and escorted us to our room asking if we needed anything. They made me feel special and allowed us to check in early without a fee. The restaurants are beautiful and again waiters who want to make sure that you are happy. The rooms are beautiful, clean and again secure. The amount of amenities was incredible with fresh water for each guest and a third bottle for tea, to grooming kits and shampoo and conditioner that were of great quality. I love this hotel and again the best trained staff to care about their customers even on exiting they gave us a family send-off. As for the transfer use the hotel they pick you up in style and make you feel like a VIP in a clean update car with water, mints, facial mist and tissue for your use. I love that the driver waited for us and used the information even with a small delay on my part. This is such a relaxing hotel and again you are the guest that is catered and cared about, something I wish others would copy. Also get the breakfast and dinner package the food was delicious, fresh, and high quality. Gorgeous desserts and savory dishes with so much variety for vegan and none vegan.

If you are looking for a serene hotel with fabulous staff and clean surroundings in Mumbai then this is the hotel for you. It was the first time staying at a Taj hotel group hotel and all I can say is that if this hotel is anything to go by, I will be reappearing it. The room was clean, great breakfasts daily, and lovely facilities. I was even fortunate to use the spa facilities which were first class. I had Reduka do my nails and Angel a scrub and wrap and both were excellent. I wish I’d gone to the spa sooner as it’s so luxurious. The nicest part is that it’s a quiet, area away from the car horns and people.
