I stayed here for 3 nights just one week before Christmas and I was stunned by how beautiful the festive decorations were in the lobby area. The hotel itself is spacious, beautifully furnished, and the food at the 3 restaurants is excellent. The complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, and cocktail hour at the Club Lounge was also excellent. The staff were efficient, courteous and always smiling. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The breakfast is surely something to behold all manner of sweet and savoury delights, the idlis were particularly good served with sambal and the dosas were delicious with a lovely fluffy potato fillings.I’ve never been away at Christmas time before,the Taj had a magnificent tree and presents in the foyer with Christmas lights.They even laid on a Christmas parade with Santa on a motorcycle!! The bedskirt did not fit, it was short and revealed a torn and unkempt bed base. Quite off putting. The carpets looked good, but not clean. The shower handle that runs hot and cold fell out.. despite their attempts to fix it, it fell out again the curtains kept trailing off and had to be fixed. All this in a span and f 5 days. Not once was I asked to move to a different room to salvage the experience. On the other had the staff was mostly kind; especially the guards at the front. Avinash at the hair salon was lovely to work with - high level of emotional intelligence. I enjoyed the daily breakfast and live instrumental music, very soothing.

We stayed at Taj Lands End, Mumbai, for six nights to celebrate my mother’s upcoming 75th birthday, and it was an unforgettable experience. Arya at check-in was superb, warm, and welcoming. As the room we’d booked wasn’t available, he upgraded us to a Club Room, which was absolutely fantastic. The room was spotlessly clean, modern, and very well-maintained throughout our stay. The Club Lounge was also exceptional, with great food and service, and the staff ensured we were happy at all times. The hotel even arranged a birthday cake, which was a very kind touch. Anil from housekeeping on the 22nd floor did a phenomenal job; he kept our room in pristine condition and went beyond expectations, always checking in to see if we needed anything. From start to finish, it was seamless. On any future visit to Mumbai, we’ll definitely stay at Taj Lands End again.

Room and staff was fine. The hotel was very crowded, did not feel like five star hotel, at best three stars. Breakfast buffet was like a zoo. No proper seating available, had to ask for service several times. Outside the hotel is a big slum on the seaside. No proper place to walk. Hotel staff seems to be unhappy as they mentioned that they are really unhappy with the employer.
