Vacations Close To Los Muertos Pier

Let me start by saying I’ve stayed here a few times and always have loved it. The rooms are beautiful still the staff is very friendly until something comes up then you can feel tension. I’m not gonna go into full detail about everything but I’ll just say this. You need to understand if you’re staying here. You’re going to hear loud music played at the pool during the weekends very hard to relax in your room with thumping music. Second and the part that made this stay very difficult was the Wi-Fi would drop every 30 to 45 minutes. The TV in the bedroom wouldn’t play anything because it couldn’t get a signal and they tried to make up excuse after excuse saying the rain does that although it didn’t rain the whole time I was there and then I got an email from the owner saying that the Head staff told him it was my phone configuration. It ended up being something we talked about the entire stay, which is a shame because again the place is beautiful.

My wife and I chose Sanctuary Garza Blanca Puerto Vallarta to celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary, and from the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for something special. We travel frequently and have been fortunate to experience some of the finest luxury hotels around the world, including Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental, and Raffles. These experiences have given us a deep appreciation for thoughtful design, refined service, exceptional dining, and the small details that make a stay truly memorable. We stayed in the brand-new tower, and the experience was spectacular. Our room was beautifully designed, modern, spacious, and exceptionally comfortable. However, the views were undoubtedly the star of the show. Waking up to the Pacific Ocean each morning was breathtaking, and the scenery from our room and throughout the resort was unforgettable. The infinity pool was another highlight. Absolutely amazing experience! The hotel was wonderful, the food was delicious, and the area was very peaceful and felt extremely safe. What impressed me the most was the way they treated their guests. They truly make every customer feel special, comfortable, and cared for, almost like you’re at home with family. The pools were beautiful, the service was excellent, and everything about our stay was perfect. I honestly have nothing negative to say. If there were a rating higher than 5 stars, I would definitely choose the highest one. Highly recommended, and I would absolutely come back again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was our second time staying here, we had an amazing time the first time & coming back for the second time just proved to us why we decided to come back. Absolutely love it here!

No regrets

Very clean, staff friendly and helpful, food very good. I ate at the Asian, Italian and Mexican specialty restaurants and all had good service and food - still buffet style but different from the buffet with better service. Pool water was a bit warm for me, but its Sept so everything is warm! Lots of pool and beach chairs. No waiter service at the pools though, which was odd, but did not bother me, I simply went up to the swim up bar at the adult section. Large resort, but still able to find quiet spots. I was on a solo trip and always felt safe. I would recommend this resort for families. Next time I will probably try the adult only Riu down the beach, just because of the kids, there were a lot of them! Nice beach to walk. Again I can recommend this resort because I have no real complaints

Beware of bed bugs. This place unfortunately did not meet our standards. I ended up getting an infection on my leg due to the bed bugs at this facility, which surprised me given that it is supposed to be one of the more high-end locations in Puerto Vallarta. Additionally, everything that might be a standout dish on the menu is a surcharge, so be ready for that if you plan to come here. I would advise visiting here during the time of September, as we experienced a lot of humidity. They do have some nice amenities that are outdoors, which are hard to enjoy if you come in the most humid times of the year. Additionally, I didn't enjoy the fact that as soon as we were welcomed in, they tried to push a VIP program onto us. This then committed us to a 75-minute onboarding and additionally delayed our check-in from actually having us enjoy our welcome and our first day. We lost several hours just to them trying to sell us on the sort of VIP experience, which I believe is a timeshare. Luckily, we were able to get out of this, and I would recommend others to do so as well if you want to maximize your time at the resort. Again, I would urge visitors to look elsewhere as you can finder more cleanly resorts for this price. Additionally, transportation to and from the resort is not included without yet again.. a surcharge

We had a lovely stay at Sunset Plaza. The staff was always attentive, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout our visit. A special shoutout to Andres, our butler, who was always willing and ready to assist with anything we needed. The food was tasty—there have definitely been better, but it was still enjoyable. The bed was a bit hard and it wasn’t too comfy - lots of pillows helped. Overall, we had a nice and relaxing stay and truly appreciated the wonderful service!
