“DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! BEWARE! Had to drive 1.5 hours on a motoscooter back to Chiang Mai at 1:30am because the rooms are infested with GIANT ants in the beds, and hundreds of small ants in the bathroom. They tried to move us to a different room and right when I walked in a giant ant crawled across the pillow on the bed.They offered to place me in a "different area/room", if i paid them more money! They essentially tried to extort money out of me just so I could have a non- infested hotel...

“Mini getaway from Chiang Mai in the rural tranquillity of Takita. Enormous, beautifully appointed rooms. overlooking rice paddis. All staff were very professional and helpful.. The view of the mountains were spectacular, watching the cloud formations.”

Glad we did though as we woke up to an authentic local morning market where we walked for half an hour. An absolute delight. The only thing to note is that all items incur a surcharge, such as extra pillows.”
