Vacations Close To Mt. Tallac Trail

I was not expecting this place to be this nice the pictures don’t do it justice. I had a great stay felt like I was home away from home. The staff was polite and helpful. The room was clean.

My inaugural visit to Reno and WorldMark Reno was an outstanding experience. I would like to commend the staff, the property, and the service for exceeding all expectations. Having traveled extensively across nine countries and stayed in over 2,000 suite-category hotels, I found the accommodations and service level here to be truly exceptional. I extend my sincere appreciation to the WorldMark Reno team for such a remarkable stay.

I had high hopes for this place, as it came recommended. A few days before our arrival, we were sent a message that there was a gas leak on the property, and our cabin was one affected. We were told the heaters and stove would not work, but the hot showers would. Long as we had hot showers I kept the booking. On arrival they had 2 random unprofessional looking guys digging trenches all over the property still trying to locate the source of the leak. On check in we were told there were NO hot showers and we would have to go across the street to a different cabin just for showering. We were given a discount which was fair. But why were we not told this beforehand? I would have booked elsewhere. And things got worse. After a full day of hiking, we drove to the secondary cabin to shower and the card did not even work. No one was in office so we had to go to bed with no showers. In the morning Staff simply said ‘looks like the cabin was booked yesterday thats why it didnt work.’ uh ok and no one thought to communicate this to us and find us another cabin?? They didn’t even apologize. On top of this, our actual cabin which had no working stoves or showers, also had outlets that didn’t work and a curtain rod that was held together by tape. Whole place seems it’s lacking on maintenance and they can’t even hire a full professional crew for a gas leak which is serious. Won’t be returning.
