Vacations Close To Mountain View Hospital

I booked a room with two queen beds. Thursday through Sunday. I paid $830.52 for this room. On Thrusday night the shower in my room would not work and we moved to "the only room left, they said" which was a nice suite with a king size bed, but I booked and paid for a room with TWO beds. For our inconvenience, the said they gave us a $25.00 food voucher on our room. We tried to us it twice and it didn't work. They did send us a roll away bed which wasn't the most comfortable and NOT what I booked. I asked for a comp of some kind and at first was offered $40.00, When I asked to speak to a manager the desk cleark had to call some one and said she would call me later. She then said they would comp me $90.00 I had to say that I wanted a least the resort fees back, which was $122.01 and she made that work, but only after I had to argue.----On a $830.00 dollar bill. The suite was nice BUT not what I booked. The staff at the front desk, the bellman, the valet drivers, the maintenance men who tried to fix the shower- they were all wonderful and helpful. I felt the $25.00 food voucher was way to small and the fact that I had to ask for a refund or credit of some kind was not good customer service on managements part. I have stayed at the Aliante several times, but won't stay there again. Its a nice plae and again, the staff were some of the best I have seen, but I am very disappointed with management.

The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable.
