“Hillcrest Mountain View Retreat is a hidden sanctuary. We hit the jackpot when we were searching for accommodation in the area to attend a wedding. Its location is nothing short of spectacular and the 360 views are breathtaking. Hosts Craig and Paul were so warm and welcoming, and a wealth of knowledge about the local area. “Stayed 3 nights in Oct. Room was small, no sitting chairs, nice bath with a walk in shower. Kettle only with instant coffee, tea provided. Small fridge and hot plate all in nice condition. “Cabin was clean and had everything you would need plus extras. Kitchen well equipped, lounge and bed very comfortable. Nice to sit outside on the veranda. Only downside was the bathroom is very small and hard to use the sink to clean teeth plus one side of the bed is against a wall. But overall a great place to stay for a few days.”

“The lovely cleaner Christine let us in one room early as we had to attend a wedding. She was very polite and helpful. We would stay there again.”

“Close to town, easy walk. Lovely view of mountains.”

“Loved the balcony of the villa we stayed I . The views were so beautiful!”

“Location was AMAZING! Couldn’t ask for a better view or environment to be in. Lodge was clean and perfect for our stay. Only suggestion was the cafe/dining being open longer.”
