NOT this place

At the door to the office, you see a sign that says they are unable to accept reservations through the internet, such as travelocity, etc. When I explained that I had made and prepaid for a reservation, the woman said she was sorry, but they no longer used that service. I had to call to cancel through the service I had used, which was a pain in the yang after a long day of appointments and travel. We unfortunately ended up getting a room through them and paid directly to avoid the hassle of going elsewhere for the night. The room was a semblance of clean. However the bed was in terrible shape with the worst excuse for pillows I've ever seen. Next door to us was a room full of men, more than should be registered for a single room, drinking beer and being loud. We went out for a quick bite and when we returned there were three police cars in the parking lot and as many officers there frisking a young woman. They had gathered quite a crowd of onlookers. Fortunately for us, the situation cleared out the "man party" next door and at least one of us was able to get to sleep before they returned for phase two. Breakfast the next morning was a box of cereal setting out on the counter, with a half gallon of milk sitting next to it. Only one bowl and spoon though. I guess people were suppose to share it?

All you get is cheap.

It was cheap. Room condition was very rough. WiFi was not working, and hadn't for a while...gave me the password for a neighboring hotel.

Dirty, dirty, smells... and did I mention dirty!

This was the worst experience I've ever had, and I've traveled to third world countries! The front desk lady was pleasant, but my disappointment was in the room. For $55/night, which was suppose to be a discount, was a major rip off! I booked a non-smoking room, and the sign next to the door did say "non-smoking". But the room smelled like an ashtray! Plus, oh this is good: First, there were no towels, I had to get that at the front desk - excuse made, "oh, we just washed it, let me get some from the dryer"; bugs were crawling on the sink and mini cockroaches appeared several times around the TV, counter and walls; the bathtub was obviously not cleaned, there were nasty debris of human something on the side of the tub - I don't even want to talk about the toilet; on the corner was a broken lamp shade - no effort to replace it; and the list goes on, but I'm limited to only 2000 characters on this review!! SO, my advice is, do not be fooled by the five-star ratings, those were obviously put by employees or the manager. Spend that extra money to stay at a hotel that doesn't look like a scene from bad, B rated horror movie!! I will NEVER RETURN to this establishment again.

Drove off. Lost money rather than stay.

The outside appeared unkempt and nasty. People in their trunks and in the parking lot. Very scary for a female alone. Feel like the one assisting me on the phone gave very incorrect information. It was not the same comparison to Romada. Would like a refund.

Will do in a Rush.

I had to find a hotel for somewhere close by to stay for a family emergency. It's definitely not one of the nicest places I've ever stayed, but it wasn't bad at all. For the price, it's clean, affordable and spacious for two. If all you want is just a quick, cheap place to simply sleep in, you can't go wrong this place.

Bed Bug bites on my 4 week old and 2 yr old

The lobby was filthy; they had not vacuumed in months. It also reeked of cigarette smoke even though our room did not. There was an old lady shaving her legs on the sidewalk next to our room when we first arrived. In the AM - my wife was nursing our 4 week old baby on the bed when she noticed a bug crawling around. She squished the bug on the bed and was alarmed when she saw a lot of blood. We checked the rest of the bed and found 4 more of various sizes (baby ones). After doing some research online, we realized these were bed bugs. My 2 year old had 3-4 bug bites on his back. Our 4 week old had one, My wife several and just a few for me. We found blood stains from previous occupants on my bed. - Probably from bed bugs. We had no choice but to pack everything up and try our best not to bring them in our home. Time will tell if we were careful enough. We told the receptionist who acted surprised, and tried to reassure me by saying "We've only had bed bugs twice in the last 7 months", which of course wasn't reassuring at all. "That means you have bed bugs!" I thought to say to her. I can't imagine why someone would rent out a room they know has bed bugs. If my wife hadn't seen the one crawling on the bed, we might not have noticed until we got home and it was too late to prevent them coming home with us. I would recommend staying here if you already have bed bugs at home, and have just gotten used to tiny insects feeding off of your blood while you sleep.

DON'T GO HERE

This was the worst motel by far. There were roaches, the shower curtain had mildew, the sheet on the bed had a urine looking stain, the replacement had blood on it. There was no soap, only 2 big towels, the seats were filthy and they had an old box style tv. It was ridiculous.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!

Booked this motel off Expedia..Arrived at "office " with people shoving food down their throats, apparently unaware they were running a business, and telling us and other customers next to us, they are "overbooked" and have to give us unworkable rooms. We had the choice between a broken bed that collapses or a broken door that doesn't lock. As we already paid through Expedia, we reluctantly took the room with a broken bed for our small children to sleep on, as we were all very tired and didnt have a choice. We tried to ignore the open garbage all over the stairwell and hallways, the rat traps visably in view, the cigarette holes throughout all the sheets, the disgusting stale cigarette smoke in the "nonsmoking" room that permeated the whole motel, the nasty unclean bathroom, and our children falling onto the floor with the broken bed, but when roaches started crawling on my children from the floor, we had enough. Tried to get front desk to answer for 30 minutes. Finally woke up the redneck who apparently lives at the motel and was told "she was trying to sleep!" Said we wanted a refund and were checking out immediately and she then told us "we shouldnt get a refund because we were already in the room for an hour." Told her we couldn't sleep with roaches all over the room and a broken bed that crashes on the floor. Long story short- redneck never refunded our money. Expedia finally refunded it after several complaints and angry phone calls were made.

Nasty motel

The lobby was nasty , the rooms wasn't clean , tv was in the floor, shower curtain was hanging in window, towels and rags had stains, there was a sofa in the room that had paint all over it

Sketchy!!!

When we arrived there were 6 police cars at the restaurant next door. Apparently a drug bust was going down. The lobby smell of cigarettes. There was a shoe print on the ceiling of our room!? Thankfully I had my own pillow because theirs looked sketchy. If it hadn't already been a long day I would not have stayed!

Unfortunately I booked and paid for this (non refundable) room on Expidia while on the road. The hallway leading to the room was filthy. Inside the room I found hair on the bedding. There was a used wash cloth hanging on the shower curtain. There was dust on top of the television. There was no need to complain to the management. I did not want another room after what I had already seen. I did not stay, I was more comfortable with the idea of sleeping in the car. I gambled on a cheap room and lost.

Don't ever stay at this hotel

I made a reservation for the America's Best Value Inn in Statesville, North Carolina. When my family of 6 pulled in late at night, I saw a no vacancies sign on the door but thought it was for people stopping in without a reservation. The lady at the front desk was so unprofessional and rude to me! They did not have any rooms available and I had booked two rooms. She never once apologized to me and continually huffed and puffed and was aggravated at me for something I didn't do. The outside looked like a dump!

pay a little more and take your business elsewhere

the hotel was very dingy and dirty. it was very loud. I feared that I would end up with bed bugs all though I didn't see any. we constantly were checking on our car to make sure it didn't get broken into. nasty smell in the hallways and room. as soon as we got out of the car we had some guy and lady tell us not to stay here because the rooms were infested. after you pay you cannot be refunded.

The hallway has litter in it when we were walking to the room. The toilet has a black water ring indicating that it not been cleaned for a long time... The shower still has someone else's bar soap in it. The room was marked as non-smoking but reeked of stale smoke.

Only stay here if you love dogs & cigarette smoke!

Front desk staff friendly, but attire was too relaxed. Rooms weren't prepared upon arrival. No mattress covers. Burn holes in sheets. Towels were clean. Carpet needed a better vacuuming. Floor in bathroom was dirty, but not dusty. Didn't feel dirty, but when I had to wipe up water on the floor the washcloth turned brown. Hotel grade was a 91. Most smoke detectors were taken apart. Our room had a microwave and refrigerator, but friend's didn't have phone in one another didn't have clock radio. Nonsmoking rooms are on 2nd floor, smoking rooms downstairs which equals thick haze of constant smoke in hallway, and rooms. So, if you are a chain smoker, without dog allergies, this is the place for you!

Affordable and clean.

Clean hotel under renovations at the time of my stay, but very clean rooms and fairly quiet. Personnel was helpful and friendly.

This hotel is not ready to receive guests.

The room was dingy. The sheets were stained and we slept on to of the covers. It needs serious renovations done and a complete makeover before the hotel should consider receiving guests. We ate breakfast elsewhere as theirs was pathetic.
