This is a family business and you can tell they love it there. The water was hot and the room was the right temperature. It is true that a little bit is older, but for the price point it was perfect.

Room had a mildew smell and heat/air did not work. Breakfast was from 6-9 in the office, but the office was locked and had no staff at 8am, so there was no breakfast and no way to formally check out

The grounds and rooms are dated and in need of repairs which they are improving. It was clean and had a nice BBQ area. They have a small continental breakfast in the morning. It’s a good choice for overnight travel or a weekend. We had a room with three queens and a hide a bed. One queen and the hide a bed are in a separate bedroom. It was perfect for our family of six and a toddler with a fridge and a microwave.

When I made the reservation I thought for some reason it was off the freeway and the pictures of the property made it look a lot nicer than it was. The front desk (probably the owner) was nice enough to change my reservation to give a room opposite the freeway and it was quite all night. It's a 1950s property and looks like it.

There’s old…and then there’s dirty..I can handle old. But there’s no excuse for a hotel to be this dirty. It’s just gross. Also the breakfast was a joke. Wrinkled month-old apples or unripe green bananas anyone?

The property was very good as an older, independently-owned and ran motel. The provided breakfast included cereal, bagels, fruit, and hard-boiled eggs -- it provided exactly what I need first thing in the morning. A serious disadvantage is its proximity to I-5. I-5 runs less that 100 meters away from the building. Road noise is constant if you are on the I-5 side of the building. I specifically reserved a room on the far side of the building but the manager had given that room away before I checked in.

Mt.Shasta siesta

The room was generous, clean, comfortable. I would stay there again. I was skeptical about the claim that you could see Mt Shasta from the hotel but it was true. Thanks for helping make our trip as effortless as possible.

This was a last-minute booking for us on our way to Oregon. Overall it was a great place to stop and rest. Fast food and Gas stations are readily available. The owner woke up around 1 AM to check us in. Beautiful location with Mt Shasta as a backdrop.

Rough stay

Very run down. There were workers staying there and must have been for a longer term situation because they were loud and drinking and going back and forth between all the rooms until very early hours of the morning. Bed had or carpeting had fleas. Had many bites. Not a great stay.

Do not stay here! It's gross!

This place is disgusting. The rugs, the bed coverings, and the curtains looks infectious. In addition, they are charging illegal fees. I have a service animal. They insisted on charging a cleaning fee for her but that is against the law. Furthermore, they charged tax on the service fee which is also illegal. And finally, there is no way in he'll this is a 3 star hotel. I would be surprised if it qualified for 1 star. I wish we had stayed at the comfort in across the street.

Could be great. Needs some updating. Area cleaned. Biggest issue was the drug dealer in parking lot going to rooms all evening. And the prostitutes. Not cool.

The main problem is that the building is very old, they need a lot of work, refurnish all the rooms, it is not clean. It smell like fish, I did not feel safe and it looks dirty. The bottle of shampoo was empty, the towels yellow and old. the most scary was the old paintings on the room, we couldn't sleep well. My kids were very scared all the time

Do not recommend.

First I was greeted at the check in desk door by a growling large dog. The air conditioning did not cool and it was 90 degrees outside. the tv remote did not work (only turned the tv on and off). website says coffee maker in the room, there is but no coffee or cups. front desk said we had to come down there for coffee in the morning. Bed sheets were lumpy and mattress was not comfortable. There was no soap, only an empty package! And 1 bottle of shampoo. Food was discovered on the floor by our dog. He likes to bring things he knows he’s not supposed to eat directly to us. I do not recommend this place for the price. It’s not that cheap.
