The 13 km Somerset Trail is a loop starting from the Gantry in D’Aguilar National Park with stunning views of the Somerset Dam about half way in. It’s not a difficult hike and just an hour out of Brisbane.

Red at night is the shepherd's delight! The sunsets at night in the Australian west are second to none. Don't limit yourself to the city, get out and start heading west. This was taken on a friend's property an hour west of the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. It just got better and better. It doesn't get more iconic that this with the water tank and lonely tree. I'd just arrived back to Australia for a two week visit. It makes me homesick just to look at it. #red #queensland #australia #sunset
