Mt. Lemmon Lodge is just a short drive from Tucson and is situated in a beautiful mountainous area surrounded by pine and oak trees. It’s an excellent place to escape the heat of Tucson. The property is beautifully landscaped, and the staff are wonderful and very attentive to our needs. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated and quite spacious. This is a great little gem, and we would stay here again.

The Lodge at Summerhaven is lovely and charming. The staff is welcoming and attentive. I just wish Summerhaven had more food options for dinner. It was a Tuesday and only the Sawmill and Beyond Bread with a limited menu were open.

Everything about the lodge spoke of character which is so differnent and appreciated compared to urban resorts that are all the same. It was lovely and quaint. My husband and I came up for an early anniversary celebration to just relax. The room was beautiful and it was completely stocked with all the things that we would need, i.e., shampoo, conditioner, coffee, drinks, and snacks. My biggest complaint is that it was very noisy in the hallways, and I could hear the chairs moving underneath our room since we were above the beyond bread. otherwise, it was a beautiful property.

Very friendly and genuine staff, working hard. I was pleasantly surprised at the common areas and restaurant, almost like a full service restaurant, which I was not expecting. This is a tiny mountain top area, not really even a town, and the lodge seems to be presenting the best possible situation, for the limitations of the environment, and the recent difficult history of fires nearby. I would happily enjoy another stay!
