the check in and check out were a breeze. staff very kind and friendly. The facility is older, some of the furninture was worn out and the bath tub was not gleaming... a lot of use probably. The beds were great, firm and not overused. I would definitely recommend if you are ok with a bit of an older facility.

This hotel is amazing! My only gripe is the fitness center. The cable machine was broken and they were missing a few of the matching dumbbells. They have HIGE Samsung flat screen TVs in the rooms and the king bedroom is very spacious.oh, also the pool was closed. That was another disappointment.

The entryway(lobby) definitely showed a grand entrance. The lobby was very neat and clean. The rooms definitely need to be cleaned more properly as well as bathrooms. The bathrooms are very outdated and need new fixtures. My room stayed cold no matter what I put the thermostat on(I think it was controlled elsewhere). Staff behind the desk were very friendly and welcoming. Overall my stay was pleasant.

You write reviews for two reasons, to applaud your experience or to warn others before they waste their time This is to warn you - was attending a wedding in the area and booked at the Grand Resort and called and very specifically asked if they could accommodate an early check in as I know check in was 4 and if there was a fee I’d happily pay. The rep on the phone told me “early check in starts at 3 & any time before that they could accommodate with a $30 charge per hour before 3pm.” Well I arrive at 3:00 ask to check in and was told not before 4 pm. Told them I spoke to someone and the front desk just kept repeating 4 pm We end up waiting about 15-20 minutes and the desk says my room is cleaned and they can check me in. Great I’ll take it Halls smell like wet moldy carpet, each floor had an eerie feeling and energy to them Room was clean to the eye but when you pulled back sheets the mattresses definitely needed replacing with bad stains Room temps wouldn’t drop below 80 for the first two hours. When we called front desk we were hung up on 4 times. When I went down they stated “oh yeah it’s the ac in the building they’re working on it” ok this information should be made to guests when checking in. I paid for a room with AC listed as an amenity Showers and floors felt like they haven’t been cleaned Hoping my poor experience warrants a response from someone. Definitely don’t recommend.
