Staff was accommodating. We had a small issue with the doors not opening to our rooms… One was user error, The other was a battery in the door which they replaced in a reasonable time. It isn’t always about the issues that you have but how the staff handles the issues when you do, and the staff did great. Motel is reasonably priced for what it is. Thank you Staff at Gene’s!

Needs a little updating but decent

It was the cheapest place around in a decent nj location. Check in was very smooth. 2nd story no elevator. Easy parking, there was lots available...not sure if I was charged for it. Kind of dismal looking but you get what you pay for. There was a good sized mini fridge. There were LOTS of good movie channels. It was convenient to many convenient stores but none walkable. The shower bathtub had a long hair on it and the bathroom needed a lot of holes fixed BUT the shower worked perfectly...easy to use and could control the temperature perfectly. You had to go to the front desk to get ice which is not in the same building but not far at all. I would consider staying here agian.

Comfy Beds, Clean & Good Service

The rooms are nice, clean and the beds are comfy. The staff is very nice :). Wifi works great! Only thing is there is not much around and it didn't help that the vending machine wasn't stocked.
