Hoteles en Mount Gambier

“This property was excellent and the bathroom was new and beautiful - we got a king bed room with a walk in shower plus a separate bathtub bathroom. Central driving to all tourist spots and parking right out the front of our room - Room 53.”

“We were blown away by our stay in this wonderful property. It is small boutique hotel which has been immaculately restored by the owners. We had a suite consisting of a bedroom, bathroom and sitting room. It was well equipped, warm and comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast at the adjacent Commodore Hotel and the food was very good. This is one of the best places we have stayed in on our Australia trip.”

“We only stayed for 1 night on the way to Adelaide but the hotel was excellent. Our room was huge, the food in the hotel was of a high standard and the staff couldn't have done enough to help us.”

“This place is perfect for the business traveller. Although parking is a bit of a squeeze, the rooms are spacious, comfy bed, have a great desk to work at, (no freezer in the fridge, though...) and walking distance to everything useful - supermarkets, food, pubs, banks and so on. This is not a 5 star rated premises (probably 3-4 star rating) but it is 5 star for the price. This will be my first choice in future when in Mount Gambier.”

“OK, so it's a real prison. And we were staying off-season, and by chance we were the only guests there that night... and the check-in was all automatic. So the whole thing was kind of surreal as we walked around the prison yard, reading the signs about historic prison life etc. You REALLY get the vibe of being in an old gaol, so don't stay there if you're going to get freaked out by things like that. Beds were comfortable, room had everything we needed, but again remember: prison vibe. On the...

“Has been a few years since staying here so I wasn't sure what to expect. Upon arrival I'm greeted nicely and advised of a room upgrade!!! I go to my assigned room and that's when things get a little sketchy. Approach room and door is ajar - hmm not the usual thing to expect. Should I enter with caution and taser on standby? I decide - hey this is Mt Gambier you only live once. Well, the door requires a good old fashion slam to shut - maybe that's why it's ajar in the first place. Upon...

“Amazing place to stay”

“Rooms were huge, lovely bath in bathroom as well. But the man at the reception was amazing. Had alot of information about places to see and recomendations and even went out of his way to get more for us. Would def recommend this place”

“The room was old, and in need of a refurbishment . I’d like to say that it was clean and well maintained but it wasn’t . The sofa was so filthy you couldn’t sit on it, there was “unsanitary human residue” on the walls and I didn’t feel comfortable being in the room . The pictures on the booking platform are totally misleading and in no way are representative of the accommodation offerings. When we approached staff about this they agreed but said it was not their issue. I’ve raised a formal...

“A great surprise! At first, it's a bit surprising the arrival at the hotel: you find a pub and a gambling room, and you must check in at the gambling room. But when you enter the rooms zone, wow! What a big room, with a comfortable king bed and plenty of space! You have a common kitchen with bacon, eggs, milk, cereals and so where you have to cook your own breakfast, but if you don't mind that (and I didn't), it's a very good option.”

“Lo definiría como correcto y funcional. Nosotros estuvimos una noche de paso con lo cual está bien. Los baños son compartidos, es la única pega, pero por el precio que tiene creo que está bien. En centro está a dos calles así que bien situado. El restaurante está bien, buen trato, la comida bastante buena y a un buen precio.”

“Good”

“Hotel agradable y tranquilo y el personal muy eficaz. Nos recomendó cosas para hacer en el pueblo mejor que en una oficina de turismo ”

“Muy bien”

“Clean room. We were in deluxe. Good value .”

“Nice place. Base queen rooms are quite comfortable. Older style rooms that have seen makeovers. Bed is a bit ordinary. However, the restaurant is first class. The food is sensational and service is really impeccable. Had breakfast here too and that again was excellent with the same great service. I would recommend a stay here but maybe cough up for a better room. There is quite a range and some of them look really nice”
