Essentially, you’re renting a room with a shared bathroom located outside the main accommodation area. Depending on which room you book, you may need to walk outside in the cold to access the bathroom, so this is something to keep in mind when making your reservation. The shared bathroom facilities include three shower stalls, three toilets, and four sinks. Soap and shampoo are not provided, so be sure to bring your own toiletries. The room itself has a heater and an electrical outlet, which are convenient amenities for a comfortable stay. However, the view of Mt. Cook is a 10!
