Called the lavender farm by my Mum and the winery by my Dad, Karoomba is about an hour and a half drive from Brisbane. The scenery is spectacular whatever the weather and the restaurant is fantastic. I try to get there every trip home, as the menu changes with the season, though the lavender ice-cream is always on the menu! http://www.kooroomba.com.au/
